Natives of Northeast China

Natives of Northeast China
by Wang Fu-Chun

I really think that Wang Fu-Chun is a typical Native of Northeast China. Both his face and his work represent Northeast China. If a native photographer of Northeast China took the pictures of the Natives of Northeast China, then it must be a very interesting thing. About his photographic career, Wang Fu-Chun has said:

"As a freelance photographer, the goal is not to create artistic works, but to experience life, to think about life, to prove life and to exhibit life. I believe that with time, when looking back at these photos, we will surely have different feelings. After all, they are true records of one aspect of history. Each photo is a fruit of my hard-working journey, and each contains a story of its own and a lasting memory."

Most Chinese immigrants come from Northeast China. As an immigrant from China, I have lived in USA more than twenty years, every time when I see Wang Fu-Chun's photo work of the Natives of Northeast China, I feel I am back to my homeland again. That is a memory that will forever remain in my life, because I also am a Native of Northeast China, forever.
