Criollo Subrealism

Criollo surrealism does not necessarily have anything to do with surrealism. In the same way as Latin Pop does not necessarily have anything to do with Pop Art. Creole surrealism is the same as self-taught surrealism, and the same as using the word “expressionism” in the sense of the need to express something strongly. Truism. Adolescence. Desire and repression. Guilt.
