Reported by Ben Levy, A company called ChargeSource showed a fairly ingenious power adapter. You buy one adapter and a series of tips that match your devices. In this way you avoid the pitfall of travelling that we have. I had to bring 5 A/C adapters with me to provide power to; the PowerBook, the digital camera, the Palm Vx, the OmniSky modem and the cell phone. Never mind that the damn toothbrush ran out after 7 days and I had to go back to analogÉ The price for this
is a little high, but the convenience could outweigh that. The main
problem I see is that it doesn't address the multiple simultaneous charging
that might need to be done overnight. |
